Self published fanzine about islands and palm trees.
In its genesis, this book has no relationship with the work of the German explorer von Martius.
This series of drawings began approximately twelve years ago with the round trips between Cacilhas and Cais do Sodré - a crossing that took an average of twenty minutes - it was in the palm trees on the horizon line where my gaze landed.
These drawings, not faithfully representing any of those palm trees, or an island with exact coordinates, are just exercises that I imposed on time: from the boarding pier to the landing pier, they should only be done during the crossing of the Tagus River and never take too long more than four crossings in total.
